Boehlke Hardware was started in 1927 when Erich Boehlke opened a hardware business to service the local farming community. A few years later, he added his brother’s plumbing business. Many things have changed in the area since then and so has Boehlke Hardware.
The third and fourth generations of the Boehlke family are still dedicated to the same professional service and quality products, but focus on the current needs of the community. With our plumbing back ground we can offer products and advice on Kohler and Moen plumbing fixtures, AO Smith water heaters, InSinkErator kitchen disposals and Jim Murray sump pumps.
We carry traditional lines of tools including name brands like Milwaukee Tools, Crescent and Irwin as well as hardware from Ace, Hillman and National Hardware. We also cut glass, thread pipe and repair door and window screens.
True to our long history, Boehlke Hardware still carries some unique products that you wouldn’t find at a typical hardware store. We have dog and cat food, but also Purina and DeLong feed for horse, chickens and ducks. If you don’t have chickens and ducks, check with us in the spring time and we can get those for you too.
Check out our unique housewares and farm toys. We have an assortment of spatter ware and pickling crocks. We have a wide variety of Breyer horses and accessories to go with the other tractors and farm toys that we carry.
The Boehlke family is proud to have been part of the community for so many years and works hard to provide professional service and a unique, old time hardware store shopping experience.
